
Carter Meyers
(PTA, COMT, Assistant Clinic Manager-Arbor Greens)
Carter Meyers is a Physical Therapist Assistant having graduated from the Santa Fe PTA program in 2017. He is also a graduate from Georgia Southwestern State University with a BS in Education with a concentration in Recreation as well as a graduate from Georgia State University with a MS in Sports Administration. Carter is the Assistant Clinical Director at our Arbor Greens location.
Carter grew up playing soccer and was a 4-year starter for his college team. After finishing his college career, he went on to share his wealth of soccer knowledge and become a youth soccer coach and holds a USSF “C” coaching license. Carter has been a youth soccer coach since 2008. He has coached at Gainesville Soccer Association (GSA) with the Academy and Competitive teams since 2012. He has also coached youth basketball and middle school Volleyball.
Over the years, Carter has gained experience working with people of all ages in some type of health/education/sports/wellness realm and loves helping people meet their full potential. He is passionate about sports rehabilitation with emphasis on knee and ACL reconstruction as well as specializes in working with athletes, young, seasoned and more. He has a 9-year-old son, Colt, whom he enjoys doing everything with. Carter is a Native Texan, born and raised in the South, where he enjoys watching his Texas Longhorns. Carter also enjoys working out and anything to do with sports whether it be watching, playing, or even coaching his son’s teams.
