Christine McLaughlin, PTA

Christine McLaughlin MS, PTA is a Physical Therapist Assistant having graduated from Santa Fe College in 2017.

Christine is a graduate of the University of Florida’s School of Public Health and Health Professions with a BS in Health Science and the School of Health and Human Performance with an Masters in Health Education and Behavior.

 

Prior to returning to school, Christine worked as a rehab aide at UF Health Shands Rehab Hospital for 5 years.  There she gained experience treating stroke, brain injury, spinal cord, and orthopedic patients. In 2017, Christine became a founding board member of iCare, a nonprofit physical therapy practice with a focus on assisting the underserved populations in the Gainesville community as well as abroad. iCare is also dedicated to increasing clinician, student teaching and learning interactive experiences.  

She has a strong passion for teaching, in the classroom or in the pool, and loves to help her patients meet their full potential. She loves spending time outdoors, whether it’s at a Gator sporting event, fishing, or spending time with her fiancé, a local chef, and her dog, Allie-Gator.
